Professional Environmental Group provides program support and guidance to ensure compliance with Pollution Prevention (P2) requirements in the Pollution Prevention Act, established to prevent or reduce pollution at its source whenever feasible.

Our P2 program is designed to incorporate pollution prevention concepts and principles into the daily operations of our client.

Our P2 program focuses on reducing risks from highly toxic substances, promotes environmentally preferable purchasing, addresses safe labeling and encourages the consideration of environmental factors in the purchasing and use of products.

PE Group promotes initiatives aimed to facilitate adoption of P2, and identify ways to minimize waste generation, increase energy efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resources and technologies with the aim of eliminating waste.

We provide reporting mechanisms to ensure employees are informed of the status of program components including recycling, waste minimization, and resource conservation.

PE Group staff will develop and maintain a customized program, and submit annual reports for P2 Program Certification under Part B Permits where applicable.
