PE Group staff provided regulatory compliance oversight for AMEC’s GeoMelt process testing at the Hanford site near Richland, Washington. Our services included preparation of compliance checklists, review for compliance with State and Federal regulations, and DOT hazardous materials shipment rules.

PE Group provided ecological support services to under contract to SM Stoller at the Rocky Flats Site near Golden, Colorado.  Our services included ecological monitoring of mitigation projects under the Endangered Species Act; and more.

Customers and Projects

The project included document review, data entry, and database creation of all available records of waste receipts for the closed CWM Bakersfield Landfill, Bakersfield, CA.  PE staff participated in subcontractor meetings and presentations to the State of California Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC). Services included extensive records retrieval from DTSC microfilm archives.

ROCKY FLATS ENVIRONMENTL TECHNOLOGY SITE—CH2M HILL  (1998-2005)

Audit of Romic Environmental Technologies Corp. at Palo Alto, CA and Chandler, AZ facilities for compliance with all governing rules, regulations and permit requirements. Preparation of annual facility report under federal EPA and State regulations for Romic Environmental Technologies Corp. at Palo Alto, CA and Chandler, AZ.  Resolution of DTSC audit issues.

RCRA AUDIT & REPORTING  (2006-2007)

PE Group was contracted to compile and review old permit records, chronologically coordinate updates, revisions, and existing RCRA permit modifications.  Our technical staff reviewed current practices and procedural documents, and photographed permit-regulated areas and related activities.  Our technical writer prepared a RCRA Permit modification for the client for submittal to the State of Arizona.

PERMITTING SERVICES—AETS, PHOENIX, AZ   (2001)

Staff performed an extensive on-site Due Diligence investigation (e.g., Phase I/Phase II site assessments, insurance underwriting, mergers and acquisitions) designed to efficiently identify and quantify potential environmental risks for closure of CWM’s Rancho Cordova, California facility.
