Compliance Oversight Program, Impact Services Inc. (2007-2008) PE Group staff provided regulatory compliance oversight for AMEC’s GeoMelt process testing at the Hanford site near Richland, Washington. Our services included preparation of compliance checklists, review for compliance with State and Federal regulations, and DOT hazardous materials shipment rules. In addition to regulatory compliance oversight during testing, PE Group provided characterization and profiling of process waste streams for shipment off site. |

Technical Services for Ecological Support, SM Stoller Corp (2005-2008) PE Group provided ecological support services to under contract to SM Stoller at the Rocky Flats Site near Golden, Colorado. Support for the Rocky Flats project included ecological monitoring of mitigation projects under the Endangered Species Act (ESA); monitoring of wetland mitigation and reseeded areas; and wildlife surveys and wildlife management. PE Group staff maintained cultural resources and provided regulatory compliance services for federal and state regulations including the ESA, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and the Federal Noxious Weed Act among others. Our staff prepared vegetation plans, mitigation plans, environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, impact assessments, and regulatory reports. |

Environmental Oversight, Caithness Energy (2009 - Present) PE Group serves as the on-site assistant construction manager to ensure compliance with all requirements of the company’s Site Certificate issued by the Oregon Energy Facility Siting Council for the Horseshoe Bend, North Hurlburt, and South Hurlburt Wind Facilities. PE Group ensures all flagging and fencing marking construction exclusion zones are maintained. PE Group reviews weekly and daily construction plans for proximity to sensitive areas such as wildlife, habitat, and cultural resources and provided construction personnel with the necessary steps to avoid and protect these areas. |

Research Management Consultant, Umatilla Chemical Depot (2004 - Present) PE Group staff provides technical and administrative assistance to the Risk Management Directorate’s Environmental programs at the Umatilla Chemical Depot. They support regulatory compliance in the storage, transportation and disposal of Hazardous Waste as well as conduct trainings on Hazardous Waste Management. |

Potentially Responsible Party Search Support, Omega Chemical Site Environmental Remediation Trust (2009-2011) PE Group prepared a waste-in database for all identified waste receipts at the Omega Chemical Superfund Site in support of the Potentially Responsible Parties Organized Group’s continuing activities. The user friendly database included raw data derived from shipping documents archived at the California Department of Toxic Substance Control. |

Historical Waste Receipt Retrieval, Erler & Kalinowski Inc. (2010) PE Group reviewed publically available records obtained from the California Environmental Protection Agency Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) regarding shipments of hazardous waste from various facilities that processed drums from the former Cooper Drum Facility in Southgate, California. |

EPCRA Report Preparation, CWM Kettleman Hills (2009) PE Group developed a comprehensive Toxic Release Inventory report in compliance with the requirements of the State of California and Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act and the Pollution Prevention Act for the Kettleman Hills facility of Chemical Waste Management. |

Waste Certification, Lawrence Berkeley Nat'l Laboratory (2009) PE Group staff acted as Assistant Waste Certification Official (AWCO) for the Bevatron Project at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California. AWCO met Basic DOT, RCRA, TSCA (PCB), HAZWOPER and Company-Specified training requirements. AWCO provided oversight of NTS waste certification program to insure work conformed to the procedures of the Quality Assurance Plan requirements. |

Historical Waste Receipt Retrieval, Waste Management Closed Sites Group PE Group reviewed more than 300,000 California Liquid Waste Hauler Records, Uniform Hazardous Waste manifests, Regional Water Quality Control Board documents and California Department of Health documents to determine the volume and type of wastes received at the CWM Bakersfield Facility. Following initial data entry, PE Group performed extensive data verification and normalization to clearly identify, categorize, itemize, calculate, and summarize the data. |

Historical Waste Receipts Research, CWM Bakersfield (2007-2010) The project included document review, data entry, and database creation of all available records of waste receipts for the closed CWM Bakersfield Landfill, Bakersfield, CA. PE staff participated in subcontractor meetings and presentations to the State of California Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC). Services included extensive records retrieval from DTSC microfilm archives. |
